Wiki and webspiration

I finally finished reading Dewey's book. The book and his theories were very interesting...
I'm also getting to enjoy working on Webspiration and wiki. I used the upload feature on wiki to obtain a web address for a photo I tagged on webspiration. Was that neat or what!

  1. Now that a few weeks have past, can you tell us more about your experiences with the Wiki, webspiration, delicious, and flickr? Whether in schools or in business, how do you think these tools can help facilitate collaboration and problem solving?

  2. I found the Wiki tools to be very helpful in facilitating collaboration and problem solving. We as students, and even teachers as a group can log on and make changes, ask questions etc. It seems like a meeting of sorts. Webspiration I see not only as a meeting place but it promotes the idea of Mind tools. I don't really like the program and not for any particular reason.. It is user friendly and almost seems like a google docs plus photoshop combined software. Delicious works very well for me. The idea of remotely book marking websites and inviting class mates and teachers to view and add towards a researched project. Flickr is based primarily on Media (photos, videos). I once took an image off flickr without paying attention to the fact that it was copyrighted. The author rightfully sent a nasty email demanding I delete it immediately. I did promptly and apologized. It was my first day on Flickr and I had been experimenting downloading and uploading photos :(
